Changes to the General Terms of Service and Special Terms and Conditions of Vastuu Services

The General Terms of Service and Special Terms and Conditions of Vastuu Services will change due to changes in the group structure of Vastuu Group and the launch of new services.

Vastuu Group Oy will transfer services belonging to the Vastuu Services business, such as the Reliable Partner service and related reporting services, the Valtti Card service and services related to Valtti Card, the Building Site Register service and the Zeckit service, to Vastuu Services Oy (business ID 3496594-3) in a partial demerger on April 30, 2025. You can read more about the arrangement here. Going forward, Vastuu Services Oy will be the contracting party in customer agreements concerning these services. The General Terms of Service of Vastuu Services have been updated to reflect that Vastuu Services will be provided by Vastuu Services Oy in the future.

In addition, Vastuu Group will publish a new version of the Valtti Card product and, as a result, make certain changes to the services affected by the release of the new product and related services. The key changes to the services are as follows:

• Vastuu Group will also allow persons outside the construction and shipbuilding industries to order Valtti Cards – in future, ordering a Valtti Cards will not require being registered in the tax number register for the construction or shipbuilding industries.
  
  
• Vastuu Group is expanding the Cardholder service available to Valtti Card cardholders, allowing cardholders to check and confirm their employment and service relationship information and Valtti Card details.

The following key changes have been made to the Special Terms and Conditions of Vastuu Group's services due to the launch of the new Valtti Card product and related services.

• The Special Terms and Conditions for the Employee Management, Valtti+, Valtti+ Customer-Specific Compentencies, Valtti+ Tarkastaja, and Valtti Card services have been updated so that the services are now industry-neutral and references to the construction and shipbuilding industries have been removed or replaced with special terms and conditions for these industries where necessary.
• The Special Terms and Conditions for the Employee Management service have also been updated as follows:
• It is now also possible to order and use Valtti Cards within the customer's organization only (section 2.3); and
• The information stored in the customer's Employee Management Service (the customer's personal register) about the Valtti Card cardholder can be displayed in the Cardholder Service to the cardholder in question for the purpose of checking and confirming information relating to the employment or service relationship (section 3.4).

The Special Terms and Conditions for the Valtti Card service have also been updated as follows:

• The terms and conditions concerning the Valtti Card ordering procedure have been updated so that ordering a Valtti Card no longer requires a tax register number (except in the construction and shipbuilding industries), and updates have been made to bring the terms and conditions in line with changes to the Valtti Card ordering procedure (section 3);
• Updated the terms and conditions for the delivery of Valtti Cards to reflect changes in the delivery process and the verification of Valtti Card details (section 4);
• Added terms and conditions for the use of Valtti Cardand the Cardholder Service to the Special Terms and Conditions of the service and removed the separate terms and conditions for the Cardholder Service (sections 5 and 6); and
• Made a few other updates to the terms and conditions to reflect changes in Valtti Card service practices (sections 7.2-7.4 and previous sections 9.4 and 9.5 (deleted in their entirety)). 

The amended terms and conditions have been published and are available here. The amended Special Terms and Conditions for services will apply from May 26, 2025.

The amendments will not affect our customers who use other services.
