Vastuu Group will make available to its customers the new Reliable Partner 2.0 application programming interface (API), through which customers can use Vastuu Group's Reliable Partner report services (Report, Report Pro and Valvoja) in their own systems and those provided by Vastuu Group's partners.
Through the Reliable Partner 2.0 API, customers can retrieve not only client’s liability reports, but also financial and sanction information, for example, regarding companies that have purchased the Reliable Partner 2.0 service. Read more about Reliable Partner 2.0 here.
As a result of this update, we have made changes to the Special Terms and Conditions of the Reliable Partner report services. The main changes are as follows:
- Use of the report services (Report, Report PRO and Valvoja) via APIs will require the purchase of the Valvoja service license and such use will be subject to the Special Terms and Conditions of the Valvoja Service,
- The terms and conditions of the report services have been clarified to specify which of the terms and conditions apply only to use of the report services via an interface provided by Vastuu Group (Special Terms and Conditions of the Report Service section 3.4; Special Terms and Conditions of the Report PRO Service sections 2.2, 3.4 and 5.1; Special Terms and Conditions of the Valvoja Service sections 3.4 and 8.1),
- The Special Terms and Conditions of the Valvoja Service have been amended to correspond to the license conditions for the data content of the Reliable Partner 2.0 service and for information licensed from third parties (sections 2.2, 4.2-4.5 and 8.1); and
- Sections 5.1 to 5.5 of the Special Terms and Conditions of the Valvoja Service describe how the startup and annual fees for the API use are determined.
The updated terms and conditions have been published and can be found here. The terms and conditions for the use of Reliable Partner 2.0 API shall take effect from the date of the release of the interface. The amended terms generally apply to report services from 6 December 2024.
When using the Reliable Partner report services via the API, the Customer shall either use a partner system approved into the Vastuu Group Partner Program that meets the requirements for systems using the covered APIs, or alternatively, the Customer shall ensure that the system used by the Customer meets these requirements. Customers using other services will not be affected by the change to the terms and conditions.
